Pacific Rim 2 Missing Fighters
When Guillermo del Toro was still director of the Pacific Rim sequel , he was confident that most of the cast of the first film would return to work on the second. However, since then the project has undergone many changes, and del Toro himself decided to remain only the producer of the tape.At Comic-Con in San Diego, reporters from Yahoo! Movies managed to talk to Charlie Hunnam , who, much to the dismay of moviegoers, admitted that he will not return to the image of Riley Beckett in Pacific Rim 2 . Hunnam confirmed that his character played an important role in the original script, but constant postponement of the filming start date forced him to withdraw from further participation in the project. Also, according to the source, the sequel will miss one more fighter - Rinko Kikuchi will not appear in the film. Whether Charlie Day, Ron Perlman and Bern Gorman will be involved in the next battle between the kaiju and the rangers is still unknown.  In June, John Boyega won the lead role in the second Pacific Rim - he will play the son of Stacker Pentecost (Idris Elba). Steven S.
