Critics have selected the best film and television projects of 2016

Image The 22nd Critics' Choice Awards ceremony has ended in Santa Monica. The prestigious award was established by the Broadcast Film Critics and Broadcast Television Journalists associations. Their ranks include about four hundred respected critics who annually celebrate the achievements of artists in the field of film and television.

In previous years, the Critics' Choice Awards was awarded in January, but this time American critics decided to postpone the ceremony to the beginning of the next season of the distribution of film awards. For the second year in a row, the event was hosted by actor TJ Miller.

The main winners of the ceremony were the creators of the film La La Land and the television anthology American Crime Story . Damien Chazelle's music tape won eight statuettes, identifying itself as the main favorite in the Oscar race. As for the crime drama of the FX channel, it managed to end the evening with a victory in all four declared categories.
