Casting: Fighting Godzilla and Violence
Before Godzilla and King Kong meet on the big screens, viewers will see solo films about famous monsters. The blockbuster Kong: Skull Island will hit theaters in March, and Godzilla's sequel is still gathering a cast, and The Hollywood Reporter has new information on this .So, according to the portal, the star of the Conjuring franchise and the Bates Motel series Vera Farmiga signed up to take part in the filming of the second part. The actress will join Millie Bobby Brown and Kyle Chandler. Now the whole family of protagonists is assembled: the central character of the film will be a scientist played by Chandler , Brown will play the role of his daughter, and Farmiga will play the girl's mother. The project will be directed by Michael Doherty (Krampus), who co-wrote the blockbuster with Zack Shields. The premiere of the film is scheduled for 22 March 2019 . Among the future projects with the participation of Farmiga there are also films "Passenger" and "Borders", and while the actress is busy filming the sci-fi thriller "Captured".  Jamie King (Sin City) has the lead role in How to Cook Your Daughter , based on the memoirs of Jessica Hendra and Blake Morrison. The film will focus on the life of Hendra , daughter of the editor of the comic magazine National Lampoon . While the generation of Americans, disappointed with life, rejoiced at the clever, sometimes even brilliant sketches of the publication, Jessica suffered from verbal and sexual abuse from her father. The tape tells the story of a little girl who, having matured, found the strength to speak up for the rights of those who, like her, became victims of violence. Jennifer Clary (The Silent Thief) will lead filming for November.  Sakina Jaffrey (Out of Time) is in talks to join the cast of the thriller Red Sparrow . Previous roles in the film by Francis Lawrence ("The Hunger Games: Catching Fire") were given to Jennifer Lawrence, Joel Edgerton, Matthias Shonarts and Jeremy Irons. The tape, based on the novel by Jason Matthews, will tell about the USA intelligence officer Dominika Egorova ( Lawrence ), against her will, became a professional seducer with the code name Sparrow ...
