Heroes of Eastwood's New Movie Will Play Themselves
Clint Eastwood continues to bring real stories of people who have shown incredible courage and heroism to the big screens. In 2014, "Sniper" came out with Bradley Cooper about the "SEAL" from Texas, who became the record holder for the number of opponents killed in Iraq. Two years later, Tom Hanks embodied the image of a pilot who made an emergency landing on the Hudson River. And in the spring of this year there was news that the next project of the director will be The 15:17 to Paris.The film tells the story of three Americans who managed to prevent a terrorist attack on a train from Amsterdam to Paris in August 2015. They later described what happened in 15.17 Paris: A True Story of a Terrorist, a Train, and Three American Heroes , which was adapted by screenwriter Dorothy Bliscal. As it became known to the portal Variety , the real participants in the events, Anthony Sadler , Alec Scarlatos and Spencer Stone , will take part in the filming of the film.  Having decided on his next project, Eastwood began looking for actors who would portray three hero friends on the screen. Apparently, the studio bosses of Warner Bros. and the director had different opinions about the leading roles, but at the last minute they decided that Sadler , Skarlatos and Stone will portray themselves. Clint Eastwood has previously recruited virtually unknown actors, for example, on the set of the drama Gran Torino. However, for the first time, the director invites people who have actually experienced the events described. According to sources, although the non-professional actors were given important roles, the film is expected to focus on the heroes' childhood, recounting their friendship until the moment when they committed the act that changed their lives.
