Genndy Tartakovsky will spend his holidays with monsters again
Last November, Sony Pictures officially announced the third installment of Monsters on Vacation , but upset fans of the franchise with the news that the director will not return to work on the cartoon Genndy Tartakovsky . The world premiere of Monsters on Vacation 3 is scheduled for September 21, 2018 . Sony also plans to create a multi-part television prequel to its hit, which will focus on the adventures of Dracula's daughter - Mavis .  As for the long-awaited return of " Samurai Jack " to the small screens, its 10-episode fifth season is set to premiere on Adult Swim this year.
