MTV Will Help Outback Freaks
The channel MTV , which presented the audience with the series "Scream" ( Scream ) based on the movie franchise of the same name, turned its attention to the world of comics. As the site Deadline managed to find out, the television network has begun work on the adaptation of the graphic novel Freaks of the Heartland ( "Freaks from the heartland" ) published by Dark Horse Comics .The original copy, written by Steve Niles, was adapted by Joff Davie and Peter Sattler (Camp X-Ray), and David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express: Sitting, I smoke "). He also plans to subsequently lead the shooting. The original is set in the American countryside, where a terrible secret is buried. The family of Trevor always hid his younger brother Will from prying eyes, because he is so different from other children. When the local sheriff finds the boy, a scuffle ensues, and the guardian of the law kills the father of the family. However, the children, fortunately, manage to escape ... Soon Trevor learns that Will is not the only unusual child born in their hometown - most of the rest the sheriff has killed many years ago. Now only Trevor stands in his way, and he is ready to do anything to protect his brother and those like him ...  Dark Horse Entertainment and UCP are behind the idea for the show and recently sold another show based on Dark Horse comics to Syfy , - the drama "Harrow County" ( Harrow County ).
