The Wild Life of Gyllenhaal and Mulligan
A couple of months ago we reported that the actor Paul Dano ("War and Peace" / War & Peace ) intends to try his hand at directing, and now the information portal Variety managed to find out that Jake Gyllenhaal and Carey Mulligan will star in his upcoming film.The film will be based on the novel by Richard Ford "Wild Life" , while Dano himself was engaged in adaptation of the original source in the company of Zoe Kazan ("Ruby Sparks"). The story in the book is told from the perspective of 16-year-old Joe Brinson . Their family moved from Idaho to Montana, where, according to their father, you can make good money and become an influential person. However, Joe's dad soon loses his job and leaves to put out forest fires, and mom finds a lover. So in front of Joe the seemingly happy marriage of his parents begins to disintegrate ...  Notably, the new film will be the first collaboration between Mulligan and Gyllenhaal .
