The Pokemon Go game has made many run through the city streets in search of amazing creatures. However, the popularity of the media franchise has affected not only gamers: last year it became known that the bosses of the Legendary studio acquired the rights to transfer Pokemon from the gaming space to the cinema. The company planned to take as a basis the plot of the game Great Detective Pikachu ("Great Detective Pikachu" *). According to The Hollywood Reporter, Justice Smith will take part in the filming of "Pokemon" - the actor got the main role. Rob Letterman was at the helm, with Nicole Perlman (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Alex Hirsch (Gravity Falls) taking over the script.|
The live action is based on the popular Pokemon franchise, which includes card and computer games, cartoons, TV series and even mobile apps. Universal Pictures will be responsible for promoting the film around the world. The only exception will be Japan: there the reins of power will be intercepted by the longtime partner of Pokemon - Toho.
It also recently became known that the creators of the Black Klansman movie, led by Spike Lee, have already signed a contract with Adam Driver and Paul Walter Hauser ("Ice Bitch"). Now the acting ranks of the crime drama have been replenished with the star of "Vikings" - Jasper Paakkonen. Black Klansman is an adaptation of the autobiography of former investigator Ron Stallworth, who once got into the credibility of the leaders of the local clansmen cell. Stallworth communicated with the activists through the telephone and a secret sign system, and for personal meetings, his representative, who had a light skin color, came to the policeman's aid. The main role in the biopic went to John David Washington, and Lee will help David Rabinowitz, Charlie Wachtel and Kevin Willmott write the script.
John Turturro (The Big Lebowski, Transformers), Holland Taylor (Mister Mercedes) and Brad Garrett (Fargo) will join Julianne Moore in the Sebastian Lelio Gloria project, a remake of the 2013 film of the same name. The plot will be based on the story of a fifty-year-old woman (Moore), who tries to find love, every night attending Los Angeles dance clubs for singles. Everything changes when she meets Arnold (Turturro): the feeling that arose between them lodges doubts in the heroine, with which she will have to cope. The creators of the original "Gloria" - Pablo Larrain and Juan de Dios Larrain will return to production.
