Casting: Charlie's Angels and Test Pilot

Image Rebooting Charlie's Angels is a done deal. Sony Studio two years ago invited Elizabeth Banks ("Pitch Perfect 2") to take the director's chair of the project, and now the major has started looking for actresses for the main roles, and the portal Variety managed to get information about the first applicants. Negotiations with the studio are conducted by Kristen Stewart and Lupita Nyong'o, who were invited to try on the images of private detectives working for the mysterious Charlie.

Details of the new "Charlie's Angels" are unknown, but Sony management has high hopes for the reboot, which is not surprising, since the previous films of the franchise have become hits, grossing more than $ 500 million for two at the worldwide box office.

After Snow White and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart diligently avoids collaboration with major film studios, starring mostly in independent projects like The Personal Shopper and Social Life. The Twilight star will soon appear in biopic dramas JT Leroy and Lizzie.

As for Lupita Nyong'o, the Oscar winner, on the other hand, has in store all the large-scale blockbusters - "Black Panther" and the eighth episode of "Star Wars".

Monica Bellucci (Malena) will join Ben O'Toole and Tess Hobrich on the set of the fantasy horror film Nekromancer. The film is being led by Australians Keia and Tristan Roach-Turners. The project is described as a mix of different genres from comedy to sadistic horror. A similar combination has already brought the brothers success in their debut horror film "Forest Serpent". Details of the plot of the new tape have not yet been disclosed.

Brian D'Arcy James (13 Reasons Why) has joined the cast of the biographical drama First Man. Ryan Gosling, Corey Stoll, John Bernthal, Kyle Chandler and Claire Foy have previously received roles in Neil Armstrong's biopic. Damien Chazelle (La La Land) will lead the shooting. Brian D'Arcy James will play Joseph Walker, a test pilot who has completed two suborbital space flights.
