The Expendables are about to retire
In 2010, the action movie "The Expendables " gave viewers a unique opportunity to see a whole scattering of popular action movie actors on the screen. Two years later, Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and other action stars returned for a sequel that proved even more successful financially.The creators of the franchise decided to expand their audience, in connection with which the age rating of the third part was dropped from R to PG-13 . As a result, the film did not interest young people too much, but it lost a lot of viewers who expected to see a tough and uncompromising action movie on the screens. The Expendables 3 turned out to be the least grossing film of the trilogy, which almost gave up on plans for a fourth part. The action franchise was last heard of in October last year, when the desire to support the American companies Nu Image and Millennium Films in their work on “ The Expendables 4 >”Said the Chinese investment group Shanghai Kuailu . However, then a real information vacuum formed around the project. At some point, fans of the film series even feared that the film had been removed to the shelf.  According to The Hollywood Reporter , " The Expendables 4 " will still see the light of day, but with a high degree of probability will be the final part of the franchise. The fact that the film is still alive became known after the rights to its distribution in Germany were acquired by the studio Splendid Film . Rumor has it that a group of elite mercenaries led by Barney Ross will return to the screens in 2018. It should be noted that to date, the official representatives of the studios Nu Image and Millennium Films have not yet confirmed either the very fact of the start of work on the fourth part, or that it can put an end to film series.
