Next year, Scarlett will appear as Motoko Kusanagi in the film adaptation of Ghost in the Shell, and now the actress has got the lead role in another interesting project.Deadline reports that Imperative Entertainment has acquired the film rights to Christine Mangan's debut novel, Tangerine , and Johansson will play the main role in the film adaptation. The project is being produced by Dan Friedkin, Bradley Thomas (“Everyone's Crazy About Mary”), George Clooney and Grant Heslov (“The Financial Monster”). The psychological thriller will unfold in the 50s in Morocco. At the center of the action is Alice Shipley , a woman who re-starts chatting with her former roommate Lucy . During the years when they were still friends, the boyfriend Alice died suddenly, and Lucy may be involved in his death. When the main character renews her relationship with an old friend, her husband suddenly disappears, leaving Alice wondering if Lucy is really dangerous, or if this is all fiction ...
