Russell Crowe to lead Hell's Kitchen
Five years ago, Ridley Scott's company bought the film rights to Marco Pierre White's memoir, The Devil in the Kitchen. It looks like work on a biographical drama has finally gotten off the ground. Moreover, the film about the star chef got a close friend and frequent collaborator of Ridley - Russell Crowe.“We just closed the deal for the film, White admitted to British reporters. -Russell will direct and write. He will also play me at one of the stages of my life”. Apparently, the scenario will span several decades: a couple of years ago, White's representatives spoke with Michael Fassbender, who could have played a chef at the dawn of his culinary career. Marco took over the helm of London's high-end restaurant Harveys at 24. Eight years later, he became the youngest chef ever to earn three Michelin stars. In 2007, the Briton was appointed host of the popular reality show Hell's Kitchen.  It's worth noting that Crowe's officials have yet to confirm White's words.
