Paramount is preparing an animated horror movie
Paramount is ready to tickle the nerves of cartoon fans: the animation department of the major has acquired the rights to film the graphic horror novel Stray Dogs.The comic strip by Tony Flix and Trish Forstner will be out next year. The details of the plot are kept secret, but the authors claim that readers will find a fascinating mix of "Silence of the Lambs" and "Lady and the Tramps." The comic will be adapted by Mark Perez (We Received!, Night Games) and produced by Gary Doberman (The Curse of Annabelle, It). "The success of many horror games is built on turning something innocent into something scary," said Doberman. -Think of the Annabelle doll or the clown from It. Something similar will happen with Stray Dogs: we use cartoon characters to tell a really dark story. ”  Gary did not specify whether the cartoon will go into production right away or whether its creators will wait for the comic to come out.
