Kevin Feige Starts Star Wars
What happens when you combine two of today's most successful film franchises, the Marvel Universe and Star Wars? Disney has no plans to carry out such an experiment in the literal sense, sending comic book characters to a galaxy far, far away, but it’s easy to involve a man who built the Marvel universe almost from scratch to work on the space saga. Kevin Feige, producer and foreman of the most ambitious film building of the century, who supposedly does not have enough time for Spider-Man, will have a hand in creating one of the future films of the Star Wars series.Feige presented his idea to Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy, Disney CEO Robert A. Iiger, and Co-Chair Alan Horn. Now the details of the film are a secret sealed with seven seals, but insiders claim that Feige already has a large-caliber movie star in mind. Horn confirmed the news in an official statement:“We're thrilled with the projects Kathleen and the Lucasfilm team are doing, not just Star Wars, but Indiana Jones as well; and others. With the conclusion of the Skywalker saga, Kathleen will usher in a new era of Star Wars, and given what an avid fan of the franchise Kevin is, it was just the right decision to work together between these two outstanding producers. ” It is noteworthy that earlier there were rumors that Kevin Feige would replace Kennedy as president of Lucasfilm. However, Feige himself denied this information, and Kathleen eventually signed a new contract - until 2021.
