Mexicans Conquer America
Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives), Forest Whitaker (Ghost Dog: The Samurai's Way), Natalie Chadez and 20th Century Fox Television will create the ABC series Chicano. Inspired by the novel of the same name by Richard Vasquez, the script for the show will be written by Chadez, who previously worked on television projects such as 12 Monkeys and Heroes."Chicano" is a large-scale saga about representatives of various generations of the Sandoval family. The plot is centered around Mexicans who immigrated to Los Angeles in pursuit of the American Dream. Together with the heroes, viewers will experience the many ups and downs that have accompanied the family over the past century, and will find out what it means to be a real American.
