Villa White Horse is waiting for guests
The BBC will continue to introduce Agatha Christie's work to television fans. Over the past few years, the British broadcaster has honored the writer's legacy with such successful series as And There Was None, Trial of Innocence and Alphabetical Murders. It was announced today that the heroes of another bestseller of the Queen of Detectives, Villa White Horse, will soon appear on television.The first publication of the story took place in November 1961. The book's central characters are the writer Ariadne Oliver and the historian Mark Easterbrook, who are involved in the investigation into the death of a Catholic priest. To the surprise of the main characters, a note with several names is found in the pastor's boot. The case takes an even more unexpected turn when people from this list begin to die under the most mysterious circumstances ... Sarah Phelps, who has collaborated with the BBC on the aforementioned Christie adaptations, will write the script for the two-part TV movie. The staging of the "Villa" White Horse " will take care of Leonora Lonsdale (Black Dog, Red Dog).  The BBC will partner with Agatha Christie Limited, Mammoth Screen studio and Amazon online service to work on the action-packed detective story.
