”The holiday that is always with you” will be a TV series
Village Roadshow Entertainment Group is preparing to shoot a series based on the book of memoirs of the great American writer Ernest Hemingway "The Holiday That Is Always With You." Among the producers of the film adaptation is the granddaughter of old Hem - actress Mariel Hemingway, who was nominated for an Oscar in 1980 for her supporting role in Woody Allen's Manhattan. Together with her, the production of the show will be handled by John Goldstone (Remove Carter) and Mark Rosen (The Eighth Sense). They are still looking for a writer for the new series.First published in 1964, The Holiday That Is Always With You is one of Hemingway's most famous works. In it, the author describes his life in Paris in the 1920s, when he was a poor but ambitious young expatriate journalist, and also talks about his first wife Hadley Richardson and contemporary writers. Among them were such people as Ezra Pound, John Dos Passos, Aleister Crowley, Francis Scott Fitzgerald and many others.
