Edgar Wright will take over the kidnapping
The comedies "Zombies Called Sean" and "Kinda Tough Cop" brought fame to Edgar Wright, but it seems that the director is ready to finally switch to the dark side of cinema. His latest film, Last Night in Soho, is described as a psychological thriller, and will be followed by a project that will allow Wright to explore the most unsightly human qualities. The director is set to lead the filming of a tape based on Adrian McKinty's bestseller The Chain.It is noteworthy that the first talk about the adaptation of "Chains" was even before the release of the novel, but Paramount was unable to conclude a deal with the author, but Universal coped with this task successfully. Rachel's daughter has been kidnapped. The only way to get her back is to steal someone else's child, since the girl will be released only when her mother herself becomes a kidnapper, and even convinces other parents to do the same.
