Ubisoft's video game mad bunnies are preparing a new attack on Hollywood. The first attempt to break into the movie screens ended in a fiasco: Sony Corporation announced the adaptation of the game Rayman Raving Rabbids in early 2014, but did not move the project off the ground. As a result, the studio gave up the rights to the funny characters, which Lionsgate hastened to take advantage of.Lionsgate has announced a deal with Ubisoft and plans to reanimate the rabbit movie. The film will be shot in the popular hybrid format: the computer characters will be accompanied by live actors. The main contender for the director's chair of the project looks like Todd Strauss-Schulson (“A Murderous Christmas for Harold and Kumar”, “Isn't It Romantic?”). Rabbit games have sold 15 million copies. It should be noted that Ubisoft characters are popular not only among gamers. Several years ago, they received their own animated series, the rights to which were sold in 110 countries of the world.  The film will be produced by David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman, who have a hand in big-screen hits like Miracle and Beauty and the Beast.
