The Norwegian franchise about a bloodthirsty pirate nicknamed Captain Sabretooth dates back to 1990, when the actor Teri Formo, working as marketing director at the Kristiansand zoo, delighted young visitors to his establishment with a theatrical performance. Accompanied by hilarious songs that Formo also composed, the play was a huge success and subsequently spawned a whole brand, including both animated and fiction films.Today, the franchise is known far beyond the borders of Norway, and at home its new part was recently released with record box office receipts. For now, we can appreciate the dubbed trailer for this animated adventure film, entitled Captain Sabretooth and the Magic Diamond. Its plot revolves around the search of the main character for a magic diamond, which, as the legend says, can make wishes come true. When the captain gets to the coveted chest buried on a sandy island, it turns out that someone has already appropriated the diamond. Outraged by such a brazen robbery, Sabretooth, along with his henchmen, will return to the ship and set off in the footsteps of the kidnappers.
