Ridley Scott surrounds Lady Gaga with star men
Cheerful pensioner Ridley Scott shows no signs of fatigue: the 82-year-old director has time not only to prepare for the resumption of filming of the historical drama "The Last Duel", but also to collect the cast of his next film, which will tell about the murder of the famous Italian businessman Maurizio Gucci.Scott became interested in the Gucci tragedy ten years ago. Last year, the project finally got off the ground when Ridley cast Lady Gaga (A Star is Born) for the lead role. The musical diva will appear in the image of Maurizio's ex-wife, Patricia Reggiani. The socialite was left disappointed with the annual alimony of half a million dollars and ordered the murder of her ex-husband. Gucci died on the doorstep of his office on March 27, 1995. Lawyers tried to convince the court that Reggiani was not in control of herself due to the consequences of the brain surgery, but the arguments of the defense were inconclusive, and Patricia received 29 years in prison. In 2016, she was released for exemplary behavior. Today it became known that Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Adam Driver, Jared Leto, Reeve Carney and Jack Houston entered into negotiations with the creators of the picture.  Filming will begin immediately after Ridley finishes work on The Last Duel. The coronavirus pandemic intervened in the creation of the historical tape, because of which Scott had to disband the actors and the voice-over team. Filming for Duel is expected to resume next week.
