The actor realized that it was time for him to move to Hollywood. In 2010, Chadwick landed a recurring role in the TV series Unknown. The mystical thriller lasted an entire season, but Boseman's performance made a positive impression on critics.

By 2013, Boseman had grown to the leading film role: he brilliantly embodied the image of Jackie Robinson in the sports drama "42". The following year, Chadwick confirmed his status as a rising Hollywood star with the title role in James Brown: The Way Up.

During the promotion of the musical picture, the actor found out that he was taken to the role of T'Challa in the Marvel Universe. Chadwick made his debut as ruler of Wakanda in Captain America: Civil War. Then came "Black Panther" and two parts of "Avengers".

Despite the difficult diagnosis, the actor continued to work. According to family members, Chadwick starred in the films "21 Bridges" and "Five of the same blood" in between operations and chemotherapy sessions. Boseman's last film will be a film adaptation of Black Bottom. Ma Rainey.
