Mortal Kombat will receive an ”adult” rating
The creators of the fantasy action movie Mortal Kombat continue to earn points in the eyes of the audience. We recently reported that the image of Sub-Zero in the new adaptation of the Mortal Kombat game series will be portrayed by Indonesian Joe Taslim (Raid, Warrior). Fans of the franchise liked that the filmmakers entrusted this role not to some average Hollywood actor, but to a real master of oriental martial arts. Now fans have another reason to celebrate: Mortal Kombat's film adaptation will receive an R rating.One of the main features of Mortal Kombat is considered to be such an element of gameplay as fatality. At the end of the fight, the player can perform a special move to finish off the enemy. The screen displays the inscription `` Finish Him! '', After which the gamer presses the desired sequence of buttons and enjoys the bloody massacre of the enemy. Our movie is targeting the 'adult' rating, - wrote screenwriter Greg Russo on Twitter. -Moreover, we will show the techniques of fatality on the movie screen for the first time.
