Lord and Miller have an afterparty at Apple
One of Hollywood's most sought-after collaborations between comedian authors Phil Lord and Chris Miller is preparing a new series for Apple. As a result of a bitter struggle, the streaming giant acquired the rights to a comedy show called The Afterparty. Miller is the author of the idea and will take over the showrunner functions, and Lord will be one of the producers. The project will be produced by TriStar TV and Sony Pictures Television."Afterparty" will tell about a mysterious murder that happened at a party after the alumni meeting. Each of the eight episodes will contain a retelling of the events of that night from the perspective of different participants in the events. In addition, each episode is planned to be filmed in a unique format, corresponding to the personality of the central character.
