This surreal painting deserves multiple views. Worst: "Welcome to Heaven" (rated 4.2 on IMDb)  "Welcome to Heaven" demonstrates the main problem of the latest Bruce Willis films: it seems that the actor has come to terms with participation in the same type, boring and initially failed projects, so his acting is like walking in a dream. In this film, Willis portrays the owner of a luxury resort, whose guests bring twisted fantasies to life with the help of robotic slaves. Everything changes when a random android gains self-awareness and escapes, disrupting the carefree peace of hotel guests ... Best: Sin City (rating 8.0 on IMDb)  Frank Miller created one of the most famous comics, so the directors tried to preserve the unique style of the original source: Robert Rodriguez managed to revive and transfer to the screen every page of the Sin City anthology. Bruce Willis' contribution cannot be underestimated: his character - an elderly police officer on the verge of retirement - has compassion from the beginning to the end. The film turned out to be stylish, original, filled with memorable characters and dark stories. Worst: Massacre (rated 4.2 on IMDb)  According to the latest films with the participation of Bruce Willis, one can understand that the actor is no longer interested in becoming the main character of action films. In these films, the actor finds himself in secondary roles that do not require much talent, while all the action goes to other characters. In The Massacre, Frank Grillo played a former bank manager who could not forget about the robbery committed during his service. To end this, the hero decides to track down the criminal on his own and turns to a friend and a former police officer played by Bruce Willis for help. Best: Sixth Sense (8.2 on IMDb)  Bruce Willis created two memorable images thanks to his collaboration with M. Night Shyamalan, but it was The Sixth Sense that became the outstanding film in the careers of both stars. In this thriller, the actor played a child psychologist, who is visited by a problem child who claims to see the dead (Haley Joel Osment). It's a great ghost story, and Shyamalan manages to maintain a tense and intimidating tone throughout the film, taking his breath away from Willis and young Osment. Worst: Salvation (4.1 rating on IMDb)  Salvation is another example of Willis choosing an apparently unsuccessful project and playing a supporting role, becoming the backdrop for Kellan Lutz and Gina Carano. The film tells the story of a former CIA agent (Willis), kidnapped by terrorists, and his son (Lutz), who must save his father and the whole world. The picture is similar to all of the actor's recent projects: a dull plot, boring acting and nothing that would not be in other action films. Best: Die Hard (8.2 on IMDb)  Willis's career as an action movie hero began with Die Hard, which is still considered the best action movie in history. The actor played the stubborn New York policeman John McClain, who is forced to fight terrorists who have seized a Christmas party in one of the Los Angeles skyscrapers. The film keeps you in suspense, makes you laugh and gives the viewer the feeling of an exciting adventure. It was in "Die Hard" that Willis created the ideal image of the hero who saves the situation, which many, many actors after him were equal to. Worst: "Countdown" (rated 3.5 on IMDb)  In recent years, Willis has often and closely worked with director Brian A. Miller, although judging by the results of the films "Welcome to Heaven" and "Massacre", such cooperation would be worth ending. However, in 2019, these two teamed up again to create the picture "Countdown", in which Michael Chiklis played a robbery participant abandoned by accomplices and dreaming of revenge. Willis played the role of the employer for the hero Chiklis. The result is a cliche crime film that hasn't brought anything new to the genre. Best: Pulp Fiction (rated 8.9 on IMDb)  Quentin Tarantino has created many memorable films, but Pulp Fiction is justly considered a true masterpiece. This is a painting that tells several stories of motley characters who intersect and interact with each other. Here Willis played a boxer hunted by gangsters, and his character turned out to be both fearless and romantic. Worst: Unyielding Spirit (rated 3.2 on IMDb)  Unbreakable Spirit is a Chinese military action movie whose creators had hoped to break into the Western market thanks to Bruce Willis's stellar aura, but failed. The film is based on the real events of World War II, when the Japanese shelled the city of Chongqing for a long time.
