Randall Flagg changes his appearance

Image The Skarsgard acting family decided to firmly establish themselves in the Stephen King universe. Bill Skarsgard very convincingly played the sinister clown Pennywise, and now his older brother Alexander will become the embodiment of King's evil. The Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner will play Randall Flagg in the new film adaptation of Confrontation.

Recall that in the original novel of the King of Horrors, a dangerous virus wiped out most of the population. After such a global catastrophe, the emergence of new alliances and communities between the survivors is inevitable. Some are ready to follow the 108-year-old seer, Mother Abagail, while others prefer to worship a demon in human form - the cruel Randall Flagg. In the 1994 adaptation, Jamie Sheridan portrayed the antagonist, and Matthew McConaughey in The Dark Tower.

Back in June, we announced a large-scale cast of the series, but the other day Stephen King presented his new book, which has already come to the attention of the producers, and at the same time announced the names of the new lucky ones who will take part in the filming of Confrontation. So, Jovan Adepo ("Fences") will play the musician Larry Underwood, disillusioned with life, Owen Teague ("It") - the notorious teenager Harold Lauder. Brad William Henke ("Sneaky Pete") will portray Tom Cullen, and Daniel Sunjata ("Graceland") will play Cobb, a member of the military group that looks after the main character Stu Redman.

Confrontation is directed by Josh Boone (Fault in the Stars), who also co-wrote the script. Stephen King himself will also contribute to the creation of the film adaptation: he wrote the text for the final, tenth episode, and included an epilogue in it, which was not in the original novel. The show will air on CBS All Access next year.
