Will JJ Abrams wait to meet Superman?
We reported this summer that Warner Bros. dreams of using JJ Abrams in the construction of the DC MCU. It looks like these rumors will turn out to be true. In the middle of last month, Abrams and WB announced a multi-million dollar contract for the production of films and TV series. According to Hollywood sources, the studio has already found a promising film project for the director. This is clearly a superhero blockbuster, as insiders have left an important clue - the word "Cloak".Viewers have already begun to sort out comic book characters wearing raincoats. JJ may be entrusted with a picture of the adventures of Batgirl or Supergirl, but another option, Superman, will surely become the favorite of the bookmakers. The Man of Steel franchise is going through difficult times. A film about Clark Kent needs an eminent and experienced director, and Abrams already has such high-profile blockbusters as "Star Trek", "Mission Impossible 3" and "Star Wars: The Force Awakens". Also in favor of JJ's candidacy is the love of the Krypton comics. Moreover, at one time Abrams came up with the script for the film Superman: Flyby, but the studio preferred Superman Returns.
