Tom Cruise's Edge of Tomorrow awaits
For the first time about the sequel "Edge of the Future" Tom Cruise spoke a few years ago, but due to the employment of the actor himself, his on-screen partner Emily Blunt and director Doug Lyman in other projects, the work on the sequel was constantly postponed. Blunt is currently filming the drama Wild Mountain Thyme, and Cruise is spending most of her time working on two new films in the Mission: Impossible series. The actor is unlikely to trade his signature franchise for Edge of Tomorrow, so Lyman and WB will have to wait for Ethan Hunt's missions to be completed.  Lyman did not disclose the details of the script, but earlier the director claimed that Edge of Tomorrow 2 would be the prequel to the first part.
