Online service Netflix is about to acquire a new film by Aaron Sorkin, screenwriter for The Social Network and A Few Good Guys. The historic thriller Chicago Seven was slated to hit the big screens this year under the wing of Paramount, but plans have changed, and now production company Cross Creek is discussing the details of a deal with the streaming site.Unsurprisingly, Netflix is interested in buying "Chicago Seven": the picture promises to be a real hit. The plot, based on real events, centers around seven activists accused of conspiring and organizing protests against the Vietnam War. The trial caused a wide public outcry and significantly undermined American confidence in the government.
