The director of the USA 88 drama about skinheads Pavel Bardin will lead the filming of a family comedy with Dmitry Nagiyev called My Dad the Leader. On the post of director Bardin replaced Kirill Pletnev ("Saboteur"), who wrote the script for the film. The picture tells the story of a sailor who goes to Africa and becomes the leader of the tribe. After a while, he returns to his homeland, where, trying to improve relations with his wife and son, he now and then finds himself in funny situations because of his savage past.“I think the viewer is waiting for films that captivate both adults and children, dynamic, with multi-layered humor.
