Creator of the Chimera will remove the sequel to The Tremors
The Syfy television network has decided on a director who will be entrusted with restarting the popular in the past series "Tremors". According to Deadline, Vincenzo Natali, the creator of the Cube and Chimera feature movies and the creator of selected episodes of popular television series, has been appointed director. Blumhouse TV and Universal Cable Prods will participate in the production of the movie. It was previously announced that the lead actor in the original 1990 movie, Kevin Bacon, will be movieing the sequel. How large his party is, is not yet specified, it is only known that his character will again have to save his hometown from giant graboid worms and their derivatives, but first he will have to defeat his own demons in the form of a complex of a forgotten hero, alcoholism and age. Note also that the first "Tremors" was not successful at the box office, but managed to earn a cult status among fans of the fantastic genre because of its original concept. Later on, four sequels were released on disk, and one television series was created based on the full-length project. At the beginning of 2017, the shooting of another movie from this series was announced, which is not supposed to be released.
