Studio Wiip will tell about the first weeks of the reign of the 33rd President of the United States. An independent company is filming A.J. Baima "The Accidental President: Harry Truman and the Four Months That Changed the World.The book was published in 2017 and told about one of the most stressful moments in US history. On April 12, 1945, the Americans were shocked by the news of the death of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. The post of commander-in-chief passed to Vice-President Truman, who was facing several difficult tests - from participation in the Potsdam conference to the decision on the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Baim's novel will form the basis of the miniseries. The authoring group of the TV project will be led by actor and novice screenwriter Scott Bloom. Previously, he wrote a full-length script for a biographical drama about one of Truman's predecessors, Theodore Roosevelt. Bloom's lyrics were so good that Paramount Studios, Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio became interested in the film. Now Scott will talk about the life of another White House guest.
