Hideo Kojima will do the movie
In 1993, Hollywood made its first attempt to film a video game with the fantastic comedy Super Mario Bros. 26 years have passed, and the Dream Factory still cannot make a film that will appeal to severe critics, avid gamers and ordinary viewers. Unsurprisingly, many developers have started opening their own film departments. Following Ubisoft, Activision Blizzard and Nintendo, the Japanese company Kojima Productions will be making films.The studio was opened in 2005 by one of the greatest game designers in the history of the gaming industry - Hideo Kojima. The name of the Japanese became known in 1987, when he created the stealth action game Metal Gear Solid. Since then, the franchise has sold over 30 million copies and has won numerous prestigious awards. Kojima Productions originated as an in-house studio for Konami Corporation. Four years ago, Kojima left his former job and announced that his company had acquired an autonomous status. KP's first self-produced game was the adventure thriller Death Stranding featuring Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Leia Seydoux, Guillermo del Toro, Conan O'Brien and many other celebrities.
