Will Thor fly away to a galaxy far, far away?
Star Wars continues to slowly but surely grow into a Marvel affiliate. There are rumors on the web that the star of Thor and The Avengers, Chris Hemsworth, will star in one of the spin-offs of the space saga.Last fall, Disney and Lucasfilm signed a contract with curator of the Marvel universe, Kevin Feige, who will develop and produce an as-yet-unnamed blockbuster about a galaxy far, far away. Then the franchise got another guest from the world of Marvel. In early May, Disney signed a deal with Ragnarok creator Taika Waititi, who will head the director's chair for one of the upcoming Star Wars spin-offs. It is difficult to say if we are talking about the same blockbuster. Perhaps Kevin and Taika are working on different films. This is hinted at by the fact that the insider report mentions Hemsworth and Feige, but does not include Waititi's name. Brie Larson (Captain Marvel) and Tom Holland (Spider-Man) were previously wooed into Kevin's project. It looks like the head of Marvel prefers to work with proven actors.
