Leatherface has a bloodbath
Those who are familiar with the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise and its protagonist are well aware of how bloodthirsty Leatherface can be. Now his cruelty overtook not only the on-screen victims, but also the directors of the new part of the film series.In February, Ryan and Andy Tohill, best known for their thriller Excavation, received a tempting offer from Legendary to lead work on the next Texas Chainsaw Massacre, which would have been a direct sequel to 1974. Now the management of the major has decided to terminate the contract with the director's duo. It is noteworthy that the shooting of the new part started a week ago in Bulgaria. After watching the first footage, the Legendary bosses were unhappy with what they saw and decided that they were not on their way with the Tohills. There are reportedly creative differences between the parties, although previously horror producer Federico Alvarez argued that the Tohill vision is exactly what viewers want from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The sequel stars Elsie Fisher (Eighth Grade), Sarah Yarkin (Happy New Day of Death), Jacob Latimore (The Maze Runner) and Mo Dunford (Vikings).  The filming will now be directed by David Blue Garcia. Prior to that, he shot several commercials and was the operator of the comedy horror Bloodfest, but Garcia has only one directorial project in his track record - the film Texan with a budget of only $ 58,000.
