Horror all around
Just yesterday we reported that Ryan Coogler was interested in the adaptation of one of Image Comics' graphic novels, and today another hit of the publisher has attracted the attention of the renowned filmmaker. Horror master James Wan has joined the Gideon Falls project based on the comic of the same name.The graphic novel is an atmospheric horror that combines rural detective and urban horror. Here the paths of several strangers intersect - a tired Catholic priest, an uncompromising female sheriff and a young recluse who delves into the city's garbage. All of them find themselves involved in a case related to a forgotten urban legend ... Hivemind plans to turn Gideon Falls into a TV series, but so far it has not found support from any channel or online service, but this is certainly fixable, since the original has already won the Eisner Prize and can rightfully be considered one of the best comics that came out lately.  Now James Wang is producing dozens of projects, and the filmmaker will continue his directorial career with the horror movie Malignant, which has already started filming.
