James Wan Doesn't Forget Horror
James Wang began his directorial career with horror, but his career is developing rapidly, and now the horror film maker basically only produces, while shooting blockbusters like Fast and Furious and Aquaman. Wang decided to go back to basics before tackling the sequel to the latter.The director prepares to shoot his new film, while unnamed, which will start in late September in Los Angeles. The plot of the project is kept secret, but it is known that it is an original horror with thriller elements. Wang came up with the idea for the painting with the actress Ingrid Bisu (The Curse of the Nun). James will act not only as a director and screenwriter for the film, but also as its producer, and distribution will be handled by New Line studio - with which Wang has established a relationship thanks to the Conjuring franchise. Recently, it was rumored that Wang will lead the filming of the pilot for I Know What You Did Last Summer, which is a remake of the film of the same name, but the director himself denies this information. However, fans of Wang's creativity cannot but rejoice that he will return to his native genre for the first time since 2016.  In addition to Aquaman 2, Wang's directorial list of future affairs also includes the Order of Magic telecomics, and as a scriptwriter and producer, he is working on a new spin-off of The Conjuring.
