Secrets of Judgment Night
Will Patton (Down from Heaven, Swamp Thing) and Cassidy Freeman (Smallville) join the cast of the fifth installment of the successful horror franchise, Doomsday. The project, which is overseen by Blumhouse, Platinum Dunes and Universal, was directed by Everardo Valerio Gout, with Mexican Ana de la Reguera approved for the lead role.Details of the plot of the film, as well as details about the new characters, are still kept secret. However, according to some sources, the action of the new horror will be moved from the familiar to the unfamiliar, and racial and class issues will again come to the fore.  The script for the fifth part, which has not yet acquired a subtitle, was written by the creator of the franchise, James DeMonaco, and “Judgment Night 5” will be released next July.
