Paul Fig will open the school of Good and Evil
Film fans usually associate Paul Fig's name with comedies ("Bachelorette Party in Vegas", "Cops in Skirts"), but a couple of years ago the director tried his hand at thriller with the film "A Simple Request". The next step is the world of fairy tales. Paul Fieg will lead Netflix on a tape based on the teen book School of Good and Evil.In the original novel by Soman Chinani, two girlfriends Sophie and Agatha wait for the mysterious kidnapper to come to their town. He comes every four years to take two children with him. They go to the school of Good and Evil, where they bring up magical heroes and villains. Sophie is sure: her place is in the ranks of Good. But how could it be otherwise, because she does good deeds, wears pink dresses, dreams of being among princes and princesses. Agatha, on the other hand, is a gloomy and unsociable girl, which means that she has a direct road to the villains. However, fate plays a cruel joke with the girls, changing their places ... School of Good and Evil is the first in a series of six books to date, so Netflix may be looking to create an entire franchise.
