Marvel plans Phase 5

Image Summer festivals Comic-Con and D23 made it clear that the fourth phase of the development of the MCU will last only two years. Unsurprisingly, Kevin Feige's company has already started developing the next phase.

The fifth chapter of the superhero saga will open in 2022. With a high degree of probability it will include the sequels to Black Panther and Captain Marvel, the third film about the adventures of the Guardians of the Galaxy and Blade's solo album. In addition, popular Marvel characters from Fox - Deadpool, Fantastic Four and X-Men - are on their way to movies and TV screens.

A rumor has surfaced on the web that Phase 5 will also include a project about Richard Ryder, nicknamed Nova. The character Marv Wolfman made his comic book debut in 1976. Forty-five years later, he was ranked 98th on IGN's 100 Best Superheroes in Graphic Novel History. Insiders still find it difficult to say whether we are talking about a full-length film or a TV series for the Disney + online service.

There is a chance that the public will meet with Thanos again. It was recently revealed that an early script for Infinity War described the Battle of Xandar, during which the Mad Titan acquired the Power Stone. The fragment was left out of the final version of the film, and the audience learned about the sad fate of the planet from the conversation between Thor and the Guardians of the Galaxy. The studio may well have reserved the spectacular battle for Xandar for Nova's opening scene. In this case, the battle with Thanos will almost certainly survive the Roman Day performed by John C. Riley, who will transfer the knowledge of the Nova Corps to the earthling Richard Ryder.

It should be noted that Marvel officials are in no hurry to confirm rumors about the composition of the fifth phase of their MCU.
