Filming for the DC Comics "Black Adam", which was supposed to start in spring 2020, has been postponed. The lead actor Dwayne Johnson spoke about this on his official page on the Instagram social network. "Now we plan to start work in late summer, maybe in August or September," he said.

According to Johnson, this project is more than 10 years old, but it still belongs to him with great enthusiasm. “We started discussing the movie back in 2008, so it took patience from all of us as partners, well, and I became a completely different person and actor than I was 10 years ago,” he added. Note that the full cast of the tape at the time of this writing has not been announced.

It is not yet known, whether changes to the shooting schedule will affect the release date of "Black Adam". Recall that the movie was announced for release on December 22, 2021. Thus, the movie adaptation of the comic book will be released just a few days after the fantastic movie "Avatar 2" - the continuation of one of the most successful projects in the history of cinema.
