Oscar-winning actress Rachel Weisz will play Elizabeth Taylor in a biographical drama called Special Relationship. The project was produced by See-Saw Films, which produced the drama The King's Speech, and the script is written by Simon Bofoy (Slumdog Millionaire). The director's chair for Special Relationships is taken by a duo known as Bert and Bertie (Troop Zero).It is reported that the emphasis in biopics will shift from the glamorous and scandalous life of the actress to her activities as an AIDS activist. In the mid-1980s, she hired a homosexual Roger Wall, who grew up in poverty in the homophobic outback, as her assistant. Despite the differences in life experience, a real friendship struck between them, the result of which was the struggle of the famous actress against the prejudices and inaction of the Ronald Reagan administration regarding the AIDS epidemic. Using her fame, Elizabeth Taylor has created a foothold for confronting ignorance, homophobia and other evils of society.  The creators of the project position it as"a previously unseen portrait of the legendary woman with purple eyes". In their opinion, the story of a great friendship that changed the world is worthy of being transferred to the big screen and will surely take its place in the hearts of viewers.
