Daisy Ridley walks on bloody ice
Last year, Daisy Ridley said goodbye to a galaxy far, far away, and now the actress is open to new proposals. Studio STX, in turn, decided to hire Ridley to investigate the murder: Daisy will play the main role in the psychological thriller The Ice Beneath Her.The film will be based on Camille Grebe's bestseller On Ice. Its plot revolves around a young employee of a clothing store, Emma, who has an affair with a chain owner. But their relationship did not last long, and the businessman left Emma, disappearing in an unknown direction. And here in his house they also find the headless corpse of a young woman. An experienced investigator and a criminal profiler take over the case, while Emma, for personal reasons, herself tries to find her missing lover. It should be assumed that Ridley will play Emma. The source says that the plot of the film is based on the concept of an unreliable storyteller, which will remind viewers of "Gone Girl" and "Girl on the Train". The script was written by Caitlin Parrish (Supergirl) and will lead the filming of a trio of directors known as Radio Silence.  Hollywood hasn't always treated stars from a galaxy far, far away. For a long time, Mark Hamill was interrupted by secondary roles, and Hayden Christensen now completely disappeared from the cinema radars. Fortunately, Daisy Ridley had a better fate, and in between episodes of Star Wars she starred in the detective Murder on the Orient Express and the drama Ophelia.
