Shakespeare's heroes will travel to our time
Production company Hazy Mills has a special love for modern adaptation of classic plots: its founders Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner, who in the past breathed new life into the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm in the mystical detective from NBC, decided to transfer characters from the works of the famous English playwright William Shakespeare to the screens. br />
The action of the series, called "Stratford" (The Startford), will unfold in America of our times, or rather, in an elite New York hotel. The main character will have to go in search of his father's killer. The world of "Stratford" is built according to all the rules of Shakespeare's works, but in an up-to-date rethinking: the heroes of classical plays are actually hidden behind modern facades and new characters. The show, scripted by Vincent Angell (Blacklist, Rookie), will air on NBC. It is not yet known when the shooting of the project will begin.
