Gustface found another victim
Spyglass Media Group and Paramount Pictures continue to prepare for the next installment of the acclaimed horror series Scream. Today it became known that Jenna Ortega ("Jane the Virgin") has joined the cast of the film.The script details of James Vanderbilt ("Zodiac") and Guy Busick ("Castle Rock") are kept secret, so it would be foolish to hope that Spyglass and Paramount will reveal information about Ortega's role. Apparently filmmakers Matthew Bettinelli and Tyler Gillett are shaping the cast as a fusion of youth and experience. The day before yesterday Melissa Barrera joined the project team. Like Ortega, she will play cat and mouse for the first time with Goustface. Viewers will also see the return of David Arquette and Courtney Cox, whose heroes will fight the maniac for the fifth time.  The main star of the film series, Neve Campbell, is also negotiating for participation in the film. Filming will begin in North Carolina in the coming weeks.
