Mark Millar: Marvel Studios Is Sinless
In a conversation with reporters IGN famous comic book author and creative consultant for the studio 20th Century Fox Mark Millar spoke about his reaction to the failure of the film “ Fantastic four ", and also commented on the words of Steven Spielberg that superhero blockbusters can suffer the same fate as Westerns.“In my opinion, there were positive moments in“ Fantastic Four ”, - noted Millar . -The first half of the film looked decent. I think Joshua Trank is a great director. His Chronicle remains my favorite superhero project of 2012, and then the Avengers came out. I am sure that everyone involved in the creation of the reboot worked with full dedication, but something did not go according to plan. I think at some point the bosses of Fox will be ready to discuss the possibility of a deal with the studio Marvel , which has managed to turn its cinematic universe into a successful brand. However, do not forget that she is also not sinless. Marvel has failures like the sequels to Thor and Iron Man. Everything has an end. I would give superhero films at least another five successful years. Two-part Infinity War simply doomed to collect a huge cash register. " Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice " can also hit the billion mark.  Some of the already announced blockbusters may fail, but you don't have to worry about the fate of most of them. Personally, I'm looking forward to the second Guardians of the Galaxy film. Many naively believe that in the 80s only "Ghostbusters" and "Back to the Future" were released on screens, but in fact, such hits appeared every few years. Most films from that era were impossible to watch. The ultimate dreams of comic book fans in general were such tapes as Superman 4: Struggle for Peace. Now the golden time has finally come for them”.
