The female version of ”Macho and Bothan” has gone to work
The Tracking Board portal shares exclusive information that Sony has begun work on the spin-off of Macho and Nerd , starring performed by Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum. The new project, according to the source, is a female version of the successful comedy. The studio brought in Lucia Agnello and Paul W. Downs to write the script for the spin-off.The popular franchise was originally based on the television show “21 Jump Street , created by Patrick Hasburg and Stephen Jay Cannell. Johnny Depp and Peter DeLuis played the main characters, high school undercover cops. The 2011 film and its sequel have won positive reviews from both critics and audiences.  Hill and Tatum will return to the roles of Schmidt and Jenko in the upcoming third installment of the franchise, which, according to filmmakers Phil Lord and Chris Miller, now includes the fake sequels shown in the end credits of the second film as canons. We also announced that Sony is planning to create a Macho and Nerd and Men in Black crossover over the next few years.  Agiello and Downs , the writers for the new project, are currently working together on Broad City . They also directed the Emmy Training Day comedy shorts with Melissa McCarthy and Life After Emmy.
