Casting: Robot Woman and War Photographer
Deadline has learned that Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace) will star in Fortitude International 's science fiction film Android ( "Android" *). The project is directed by Niell Johnson (Keep the Silence), who co-wrote the script with Matt O'Reilly. Mike Viluan, Lindsay Martin and Jenny Frankel-Frisbee will act as producers of the film.The movie will take place on a spaceship orbiting Neptune. The main character Mason Anders intends to resurrect his deceased wife ( Kurylenko ) and son in the guise of robots. But soon the copies he created begin to live a life of their own, and Mason will have to decide whether he is ready to sacrifice his family for the salvation of all mankind. Nadine Debarros, one of the founders of Fortitude International , noted that the new film will fascinate viewers - in addition to the fact that its events will take place in space, the tape will also raise such important topics as family and relationships with the outside world .  Elizabeth Banks ("Pitch Perfect"), who has a large number of both directing and producing projects in the plans, has decided to return to the acting path. Banks will play the war photographer Caroline Baker , who was wounded during World War II in the Pacific. Based on the memoirs of Janet Walls, the painting tells the story of a young and successful woman who grew up in a dysfunctional family: her father was an alcoholic, and her mother was an eccentric artist who cared little for the welfare of her own children. The main character is trying to understand whether such a difficult childhood later helped her when her parents unexpectedly move to New York with her.
