Martin Freeman joins the MCU
According to the official Marvel site, Captain America: Civil War has been joined by Martin Freeman ("The Hobbit", "Fargo" / Fargo ).Roles of Bilbo Baggins , Dr. Watson and Tim from The Office made a big impression on us: Martin knows how to vary the images from comedy to dramatic, - said the president of the studio Marvel Kevin Feige. "We are delighted that such a talented actor has joined our team." Details of the role of Freeman have not yet been announced. It is curious that earlier the MCU Marvel was joined by his partner in the detective series "Sherlock" ( Sherlock ) Benedict Cumberbatch, who will appear on the screen as Doctor Strange.
