According to the resource Variety , the British actor Orlando Bloom ("Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl") will star in the film Romans , which was filmed will start in London next week. They will be directed by Ludwig and Paul Shammasyan and written by BAFTA award winner Joff Thompson.The film, based on real events, will unfold in modern London. The same source writes that Johan Philip Asbeck will be joining Scarlett Johansson on the set of Ghost in the Shell . Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman) will direct the project, while Jonathan Herman is working on the script.Based on the popular sci-fi manga, the film follows a cyborg girl ( Johansson ) who works in a special unit dedicated to tracking down the most dangerous criminals and extremists. There she will have to face a mysterious infection, missing colleagues and a terrible monster nicknamed Snake . But the main goal of the girl is to find a clue to the mystery of her husband's disappearance.There is no information yet about who will be played by Rodriguez .
